Together for Chocó

On August 10, 2026, a powerful magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck the department of Chocó, with its epicenter near San José del Palmar, causing severe structural damage and dozens of fatalities across several regions of the country — among them communities in the Department of Chocó, one of the most vulnerable areas of Colombia and one with the least access to resources. Entire families have lost their homes, and many are still without electricity, water, or communication. Now more than ever, Chocó needs our solidarity: every donation, no matter how small, can help deliver shelter supplies, medical supplies, drinking water, and medical care to those who have lost everything.

We work in partnership with Colombia Cuida a Colombia, ABACO, the Colombian Civil Air Patrol, the Medical Mission of Colombia, the Bogotá Fire Department, Zakat Foundation, AMCHAM Colombia, Aliadas (Alliance of Associations and Trade Guilds), Movimiento Ambientalista Colombiano, Fundación Comparte, Agencia Social, TECHO Colombia, and other civil society actors, to bring the most vulnerable communities in Chocó solutions that create a sustainable impact on their situation of vulnerability and allow them to build environments that improve their quality of life.
